Why does my t-shirts get yellow stripes on the shoulders after hanging in the closet? I am asking this question for my grandma. She gets yellow stripes on her t-shirts after they have hung in the closet. She does smoke, but she does not smoke in the bedroom. Her shirts are the only shirts that get the stripes. How can I keep my t-shirts from shrinking so much? I am so sick of washing my t-shirts and having them not only shrink, but crinkle and curl. These shirts are expensive, even when I dry them on low heat (delicate) they still get screwed up. What is the best way to hang t shirts on the washing line? Every time I bring a load of washing in off the line my t shirts look mis shapen and kind of pointy at the bottom corners of the hem. I like to wear secondhand and thrift-store clothes and have a few ancient white cotton T-shirts (from the '70s and '80s) that I'm not willing to part with that have noticeable yellow sweat stains on the armpits. Why do some of my t-shirts have small round balls of cotton on them? Recently, I purchased three t-shirts. All three of the shirts have developed these little round balls of cotton near the rear-end of the shirt. The other parts of the shirt are okay, except for that one area on all three shirts. I'm thinking it was caused by the bookbag that I use. Perhaps the excessive rubbing of the bookbag on that area caused it. Does anyone know what I am talking about? They are nike shirts. They don't specify whether the shirts are 100% cotton or a blend. Are there any methods to remove the pilling or not?

I wash them all the time, I've tried using Tide with Febreeze and Bounce with Febreeze, I've tried bleach on the white shirts and NOTHING works. I have many old t-shirts that I love, but that are nearly ruined with yellow underarm stains that don't seem to come out with bleach, Shout, or anything else I've tried. Any ideas on a good cleaner for white socks and t-shirts? My boyfriend is a mechanic so his socks and white t-shirts get very dirty with grease and what-ever else and i have a problem getting them to come decently white. Why are there strange stains on my t-shirts after washing? A number of my t-shirts are developing odd "stains" after washing. Sometimes I will purchase a brand new shirt, only to find that after it has been washed once or twice, these odd stains begin to appear, and the shirt is essentially ruined. In addition, the stains have appeared on three GREEN shirts and one OFF-WHITE shirt. No other colors. Two of those shirts were Juicy Couture, one was by a brand Morphine Generation, and the other a brand named Left Field. I only bring this up in hopes someone might have insight into the way the shirts are made and that may have a connection to the stains.

Lil wayne verse for a high school senior t-shirt? I need to make a senior t-shirt for my high school with a good theme. The last few years have always been country songs, for example, last year the theme was from the song "life is a Highway" and a piece of the lyrics was placed on the back of the shirts. T-shirts - Why do my sleeves always stick up? Well, I have lots of t-shirts at my home. I'm 17 years old and I shop at topman and H&M a lot. All t-shirts I buy from H&M and topman and other places seem to make the top of my sleeves of the t-shirt stick upwards/ outwards. This makes the t-shirt look stupid and I find i very embarrassing. I like my clothes to fit quite tightly. I always feel the need to fold my sleeves under my armpits, just to stop them looking so loose. Why do my t-shirts do this? Is my body shape too broad? Are my shoulers too wide? Too narrow? Help! t-shirts/shirts/buttondown recommendations? I'm a 21 year old male, and I'm looking for t-shirt recommendations. I'm 6'1", 160lbs (that is, skinny), and also african american. Being tall and skinny leave me with extra long, lanky arms that don't look good in any of the new "muscle tees" that seem to be popular (you know, the tees with the sleeves ending right before the biceps begin). Furthermore, the regular length sleeves of t-shirts are generally too short for me, because my arms are a little bit longer than average. Also, my overall lankiness means that the thin t-shirts that seem to be popular also don't work very well for me. They just accentuate my skinniness, and make me look retarded. I could go with akademiks, or rocawear, or whatever, but I don't really like that the labels are plastered all over their t-shirts. So that leaves me here, asking for advice. I need some t-shirts, buttondowns, or whatever that would work well on a tall skinny black dude and are trendy/modern. Thanks!

Activist T-Shirts Anyone?¿...? Me and an old friend once made t-shirts for her Autistic cousin Landon. Metal T-Shirts? Sooo-- I need help finding Death Metal T-Shirts (Death, Nile, Obituary) for women. I always like weraing more fitted T-shirts, it's what I'm most comfortable in... But when I do find heavy metal T-Shirts, they're sized for adult males. I'm a thirteen year old girl, so any help on where I can find some in the correct size? Sites to print and sell T-shirts cheaper than Cafe Press? I've got a ton of different T-shirt ideas I've come up with over time (the one I'm wearing in my Y!A photo was one I bought online--I didn't print it myself), and I've been looking for a way to print and sell shirts on an as-ordered basis, but Cafe Press and other sites like it that I've found are a bit pricey. I don't want to pay $18 for a basic T-shirt and don't think many other people would want to pay that much either. Anyone know of any sites that offer custom printing that are cheaper than Cafe Press but offer high-quality shirts?

Iron on transfers for t-shirts? So, I want to make my own designs on the computer, print them onto transfer paper and put them on my dark shirts. Help. How does it print white color onto the transfer to get on the shirt? Do i need to cut all the way to the edges of the design? I just need a basic tutorial. I'm pretty sure my printer is ink jet. I've read through most of the question and answers on here about it. But I'm still a little lost. I need a sorta play by play. How hot does the iron need to be? How do you transfer white? Is it from the dark fabric transfer paper? How do I avoid getting a white outline? Why can't I use the transparent transfer paper? Help.. Thanks!
Having T-shirts made.. do I have to send blown up images (real life size) that I want on the shirt? The place im ordering it from just asked for black/white printed pictures of what I want.. can these shirt places blow up the images themselves to be the size that I want, or should I send them the image as big as I can, closer to how I actually want it to look on the shirt?
