Where can I find reasonably priced cool clothes for my younger children?

My 16 year old wears alot of the long sleeved shirts and sweat jackets that are really short, and wears a long tank top underneath. Does anyone know where I can find these kinds of tops in a girls size 12 for my 9 year old, and a size 5 for my 5 year old?????????? They are driving me crazy wanting to dress "cooler" and I can't find these kinds of clothes in their size!

tell them to suck it up and stop complaining... you dont always get what you want. Tell then when they get jobs they can get whatever clothes their little heart desiers... take em to thrift stores or if you have a gabriel brother neer by... they have ALOT of name brand discount stuff..... you just have to look

I got this really awesome sweatsuit for myself a couple of months ago. It is a brown jacket with brown pants, all of wich is velvet-ish it also comes in lightblue, lightpink, darkred, and lightpurple I think. They are really comfy too.
try H&M, they have a children's line that is very trendy and inexpensive
Go to stores like Ross and Marshalls, if you want cheaper clothes. Hope that helps! :)

OLD NAVY MAKES REALLY CUTE, REASONABLY PRICED CLOTHING FOR. ALSO GIRLS LOVE THE LIMITED TWO. THE PRICES ARE NOT AS GOOD BUT THEY HAVE GREAT SALES RACKS. THAT GOES FOR THE GAP KIDS AS WELL.
Try a consignment store or a store that sells second hand clothes.. kids are picky and sell clothes that are in excellent condition to these stores.
thrift stores can be an amazing source of cool clothes. Plan to spend some time there and take the kids with you so they can pick out what they like.

Try Walmart - I have a friend who buys her 7 year old clothes there and she is always very stylish looking.
Try Plato's Closet. They sell only brand name clothing, although it is used. Try eBay, or just shop the clearance racks anywhere. I started buying Calvin Klein clothes this way last year, and have saved a bundle.
Ross Dress For Less or Tj Maxx.... if you have any located near you, they are the best.... they carry name brand clothing for half the price you pay in a regular retail store... I got a pair of coach shoes there once for $40! OR Try ebay... I also buy a lot of my designer clothing and accessories on there.
i wear the EXACT same stuff...try hollister co. great clothes there..and Pac Sun..but Im not sure the stuff will fit your younger daughters...but my sister likes to dress like me and my mom takes her to G+G,rave girl,and jc penney also has clothes like that...and sometimes the clothes at hollister co are actually small enough to fit her...good luck and i hope it helped :)
A 9 year old and a 5 year old should not dress like a 16 year old! And as the parent, you need to act like one and not cave into their demands. Really, now, what were you thinking? You'll thank me when the 9 year old turns 12....trust me
See if you have a Plato's or a store like it. It's basically a Thrift store for cool clothes. People (mostly teens) can take their clothes to these types of store and the store will sort through them and give them money for them & then resale them at a cheaper price. Alot of the stuff is name brand but you can get it for 1/5 of the price....some of it is pre-worn, but quite a bit of it is new or near new b/c the styles or changing so often! And if you haven't tried yet, look at walmart...Mary Kate & Ashley have a WHOLE product line of "in style" "cool" clothes for pre teen girls! Good Luck
Kohl's and Macy's have pretty reasonably priced items and they're fashionable..
And it seemed like only yesterday that they were content with track pants and a sweater grandma made! I'd recommend trying Old Navy, which has quite reasonable prices. Try some department stores too, like Sears; they've normally got the most selection and at decent prices. In Canada here, we've got a store called Bluenotes which if there's one around you would probably do you just great. But don't cave and buy them the latest fashion trend each time they start asking for it! Clothes are expensive nowadays, and most people can't afford to update their wardrobe every two months just because their favourite star has taken to wearing something new. And keep in mind, your 5 year old doesn't have a sense of style yet, so don't feel you need to deck him out in Nikes - 5 year olds impress girls by throwing sand at them in the sandbox, not by dressing supercool :P As well, and I might hear some groans about this... but try some second hand stores, like Value Village. As a kid I got a lot of stuff there, as I was the third kid of a single mom, and I tell ya, you can put together some of the coolest damn outfits off their racks, and the retro look is in right now ;)
I think by "cool clothes," you mean Hollister and American Eagle. Hollister Co., I think, developed in California. It is a very popular trend here in Minnesota, yet in California, everyone wears skateboard brands such as DC's, DVS, Fallen, Adio, Element and Etnies. Hollister gives a person the preppy look for females. Hollister includes long-sleeves, shirts, miniskirts, sweat pants, PJ pants, hoodies, furred hoodies, jackets, underwear, thongs, bras/small tank tops, tank tops, socks, capris, jeans, and hats. They even sell cologne, perfume, and jewelry. The items are not too pricey. American Eagle is much like Hollister Co., but it has a different taste. AE has clothes that are kind of like between rocker and prep. American Eagle is totally affordable, for anyone with a middle income. AE sells shirts, long-sleeves, jeans, hats, skirts, jackets, hoodies, tank tops, underwear, thongs, socks, sweat pants, bras, capris, furred jackets, furred hoodies, and more. Also includes jewelry such as shell necklaces, bead bracelets, necklaces with a leather strap, and shoe laces*. Abercrombie&Fitch is another place for apparel and accessories. They sell much of everything already listed and probably more. If you are in Minnesota, you can go to the Mall of America and purchase clothing items and accessories because the MOA has the best of these stores. * I think the sell shoe laces...
Old Navy, Target and Walmart all come to mind they have a really great selection of this style and it will be on sale since spring lines are starting to appear. You can also look for discount clothiers like the $5 an $10 stores or Falles Pardes. Good Luck!

Try Goodwill. It's where I do the majority of my shopping. That and eBay. Last year I bought a Land's End Women's down-filled long coat with fur hood trim for $15 that only needed a button hole repaired. Because it was proprietary, I had to I sent it back to Land's End because the local alteration places would not attempt it. It cost me less than $10.00 in shipping charges, they repaired it, an returned it to me within a week. It does not matter where you purchase an item from; brand new from the store or as I did, long as you own a product made by them or even LL Bean for example (and there are others, I'm sure) as long as you own the product and it needs repair, they will repair or replace it for no charge. You just can't beat that. By the way, when I asked them the original cost of my coat, I was told it was around $165.00 new and it was only a last year's product. This was just an example of some of the deals I've stumbled across at Goodwill. When I was changing weight rapidly from having weight loss surgery, I did not want to spend a fortune for clothes that I knew I'd only be able to wear a short period of time. Goodwill was the answer. If you can get past the stigma that it is a used clothing store, or as I like to think, gently pre-worn, you can't beat it.
Abercrombie kids is always a cool place to shop. I use to go there when i was 10 or 12. They are way cheaper than the original abercrombie and fitch. Or try Old Navy, they have cute clothes. Don't go to TJ Maxx or Ross for them. I never went there as a kid, i didn't 'approve' lol
TARGET, WALMART & OLD NAVY....These are great places to go & they have great prices!
