Malls/Board Walks in San Diego- Sports Gear, Sport Hats, Caps, Goods?

Hello, ppl I am travelling to SD in 2 weeks and I am going to be staying in the Gaslamp district and atteding a wknd event at the convention centre. I was wondering if you knew of some cheap places where I can get sports cap, jerseys, shirts, etc at malls , board walks, etc. Please let me know. I hear the gaslamp area is just awsome.
