Laguna Automatic gear question?
I bought my Renalut Laguna Automatic second hand. The car has two buttons on the gear lever. The big one, I have to press when I shift the gear from P to D or R. There is a smaller button below the big one. If I press this, a red LED lights up next to the letter 'S' on the gear panel. Is this some kind of Sports gear? How does it change the performance of the car?

- does it have an owners manual. look in there if so. i dont know sorry
- The "S" that appears on the panel symbolizes "sport" so the cars performance changes a bit towards the sport side of driving...this means that each gear in the transmission is kept in motion for a longer period of time.therefore the car will revolve much higher thus giving you full horse power to enjoy. you ll see that the gear will change in much higher revolutions, say 5000rpm or so.it will also kick down gears if you step on the accelarator rapidly in order to overtake or do something that requires more Hp. you can play with the sports drive by keeping the accelarator on the floor and when you want to change gear release it a bit and trick the transmission chip.
