Does anyone make their own punk clothes?

I want some ideas on how to make some stuff or where to get some stuff. What i really want to make the most is one of those off the shoulder band shirts. Any one know how?

1. This is suuuper easy! You can go to the dollar store, or anywhere for cheap and get plain shirts, or tanks that you like. If you have a printer then i HIGHLY suggest that you get transfer paper. The kind that you print an image on the paper and iron it on your shirt. Thats an easy way to get your band on the shirt for cheap, and then get some sharpies, materials, glitter, glue and have fun!
2. I have some great band shirts that I "altered" to make "punk" I would suggest going to your local second hand store. You'll find some pretty cool band shirts there or at least some cheap shirts you can practice on. An off the shoulder style is easy, just take a marking pen and mark where you would like the neckline to be, then cut with scissors. You dont have to do much after that since the jagged edges add to the punk look. I took a sweet Ramones shirt and cut holes in the back so it looked like it was ripped and then I took another shirt and cut the back into strips, then cut the strips vertically down the middle and tied them back together so there were a whole bunch of bows and rips in the back of the shirt. The best advice I can give is to practice and realize that every shirt will turn out a little bit different. Have fun!
