Why wont my turbo 350 tranny engage into gear?

i replaced the filter and pan. i also replaced the tranny lines and tranny cooler. it worked before i changed all this, now it wont engage into any gear. how can i fix this? yes i did put fluid in. i was told to put 3 quarts in, warm the car up and go through the gears, then put the rest in. but i only got as far as 3 quarts

1. did you refill it with fluid?
2. Did you replace the transmission fluid?
3. OOPS something is wrong--or clogged---so get to a shop before you ruin it altogether.
4. if you drained out 6 qts. and put back 3, that's your prob. Sounds low on fluid to me.
5. put more fluid in it, you probably need about 5 or 6 qts. in it so your at least 1 or 2 shy of enough for the tranny to start operating, check the fluid level on the dipstick when warmed up and keep adding until full.
