How can you become a successful teen fashion designer?

1. My goal is to design fashion. But as a teenager I would doubt it because it takes time internships, a higher education and connections. I think you can be a successful fashion designer when you in your twenties therefore you have the experience.
2. Start Creating your designs, Take pictures and keep in a portfolio. Then start asking and showing your designs when ever and were ever you can.
3. hmmm. well, you might not be a designer as a teen, but you can prepare yourself for a future in fashion-designing as an adult by: *drawing often in a sketchbook (draw outfit ideas) *make collages with runway fashions and trends for inspiration *Learn how to use a sewing machine (you may want to take a class or just learn from a parent/sibling/friend) *Practise sewing as often as you can and begin following fabric patterns to make dresses, pants, skirts, and everything else (start out easy with, for example, a drawstring skirt, but then move on to harder patterns such as a frilly tunic top with ruffles and lace extravaganza) *When you are in high school, try to get an internship with a fashion magazine, company, or store to gain experience in the industry *Apply to several fashion-designing colleges when you are of age.
