How can I stop white t-shirts from discoloring in the underarm area?
I apply deoderant every day but after awhile (3-4 months) my white t-shirts start to turn yellow in the armpit of the shirt. Anyone have any suggestions?

- before washing them, put a little bleach on the underarm area
- Try the bleach thing, and it could also be your deodorant that you are using. Sometimes if you get too much on your shirt, it can eventually turn your white shirts yellowish and even a bit stiff. Make sure the deodorant is well absorbed before letting it come in contact with your shirt.
- Maybe you need a new deodorant. they have some crystal deodorant that stop perspiration
- It's from your sweat, deodorant and laundry detergent combining over time. My husband and I can't find a way to make it not happen, so let me know if you do!
- I think I remeber hearing that white vinegar works well for these stains, but I haven't tried it personally.
- As per my experience none of my shirt or t-shirt gets discolor at armpit, Bcs I wear a vest with sleeves. I never prefer sleevless vest, this always cause discolor at armpit due to sweating.
- stop wearing them!! LoL
- This problem is very genuine and almost all the youths undergo this. I would suggest that keep ur underarms clean, use good quality deodorant and drink as much water as u can during summers which will help in throwing uric acid from ur body through urine instead of sweat. I wish it might work.
- By using underarm pads.
- my tip is very sim-ple : wear someother old tshirt insie that white t-shirt........
