How can I make money with greeting cards and t-shirts?

I have some great ideas for greeting cards and t-shirts. What is the best way to market these ideas and turn them into a career?

1. I just joined a site called redbubble.com where you can upload illustrations in catergories including T shirts and greeting cards if they are accepted they make them and offer them for sale at a price of which they pay you 20% of the retail. Don't know if it helps
2. write inside the greeting cards "GIVE ME MONEY!" its also a great tshirt slogan.
3. My friend had the same idea and this is what he did? 1. Set up a booth or stall at a high traffic or tourist area. 2. Make sure your cards and t-shirts are unique as people will only buy them for that reason only. 3. Make sure you register your company and if possible patent the ideas. If not, establish a brand name for your cards/tees. If your ideas are good you will get many copy cats but people will remember your brand if you are really good. 4. Package your cards and tees nicely. This is very important. 5. If your product sells well, repeat the same set-up at another high traffic location. You can start francising your business. Good luck.
