How is teen fashion in Europe?

My family and I are going to Europe in August. We're going to France, Germany, and the UK. I was wondering how they dress? I don't want to offend anyone. I don't dress too revealing or anything, but do European's not like low cut tops? even with a tank under? what brands/stores do u guys like? I have a lot of wet seal, pac sun, forever 21, abercrombie..stuff like that. Would that be okay, or have u never heard of those stores? Also, what are some good stores to check out while over there? And what about for guys? My brother doesn't know what to wear either... I am 16 and my brother is 18.

  1. Oh yay i know =) i was born in Europe and our family just visited last summer in sweden so i know lol. Well most of the people wear the same clothes for days lol a littl gross i know. But fashion wise its pretty much the same here. In sertain parts the woman are very strickt with themselfs especially in little towns they were long skirts no make up etc. but in like city kinda stuff they wear layered shirts mini skirts leggings, lots of jewlry they pretty much have the same fashion actoully. wet seal is simaler to a lot of there stuff. From what i seen they love color most people dont acotully wear a lot of make up though but everythings pretty much the same. from what i've seen a lot of layers. Oh and another thing for guys caprize is popular lol its kinda funny and takes awhile to get use to but it is. Hmm this is all in sweden but most of the stuff is simlar. Thers really nothing you can wear to affend people. I dont think tons of makeup is a good idea b/c thats a little bit slutish but not to bad. Umm there jewlrys big and pretty and they have lots of cute little shops dont buy the clothes fromt here though like in the street b/c they rip you off inless you get a good deal. If you have anymore Q just email me hope this helps =) BTW there very big on stripes.
  2. Hellllooo :) I'm from Portugal. Although I don't dress like all Portuguese or European girls (I have distinct style lol) I can tell you what is usually worn... seriously though, girls in Portugal and Europe do dress similarly to a lot of American girls, just whatever they're comfy in. Usually in France it's a bit more artistic, more black, more feminine... in Germany I'm sure it's a lot like the US and in the UK it's a LOT like the USA (trust me)! I'll wear 'low cut' tops I guess, without shirts underneath sometimes, but it depends on how low it is... we all have our own morals on how we wanna dress, you know? Just like American girls. I'm not really a fan of the stuff you have, but I like Pepe Jeans and stuff like that... just dress the way you guys do :) Just be confident.. that's what counts! Be comfortable, that's important.. it's important to look good, yes, but don't be uncomfortable. Dress in your comfort zone. Lol yeah stripes are seen... I really like Pepe Jeans kinda stuff though, that's my style. But I'm kinda sporty... but I'll wear feminine stuff too. I'm pretty laid back about it though, I like simple clothes and I like accessories to play it up. I dont wear huge hoops or anything lol.. I just really like hats & belts & stuff.
  3. they are much more hip, layers, and for the guys more retro. They all color their hair. But the thing is they are usually a year ahead of us on the latest fashion. This is my opinion,i go to Europe almost once a year, and feel out of date every time, and always buy clothes there, then i come back here and everybody think i look weird, but they get it after a while.Have a splendid time. But be yourselves.
  4. well i live in denmark and the teen fashion is about the same, but don't worry about revealing clothes cause at least i know here they are way more revealing and dont think twice about it. and all the stores u mentioned are fine. they love abercrombie even though there are no stores....very nice and clean sneakers , no blue jean shorts, stylish shoes but comfy....if its cool u can wear jeans (they wear the tight ones here), zip up hoodie, tight baby doll tshirts, tank tops...and if u go out somewhere to eat or just go out....europeans dress up a little more then americans.
