cute ways to write on t-shirts with fabric paint?

i need to make shirts for my volleyball team. We are just going to use fabric paint, but i dont know any cute ways to write the letters and stuff. Im not very creative so i dont know how to make the letters look less boring. I always see girls that make t-shirts and puffy paint and they always look so cute. Pictures would be amazing! Thanks!

1. just make your letters bubbly and stuff. maybe write the letters in purple n then outline them in yellow or something yanno? draw diff colored hearts and stars. stuff like that is always cute. thats what i always do for my shirts for sports
