how do you tie die t-shirts with food coloring?

- You get a shirt..roll it up any way you want then you put rubber bands to seperate the colors then you dip each section in the color..

- If you are planning on tie dying a cotton shirt you cant because food coloring lack any way to permanently attach to cotton so like they will just wash out and leave it all pale and gross. - go to Joann Fabrics and get RIT dye or to Meijers or Kmart or something like that... craft or everything stores usually have it. Use this and it will last a really really long time and there are directions on it.
