Can you screen print and sell t-shirts using fonts found online?

If I find a group of fonts I like on a free font site, am I violating anyone's rights if I have t-shirts printed and sell them?

1. no, it's public domain. unless they put some legal disclaimer at the bottom. read the little box at the bottom. some people make fonts for the fun of it. i take photos for fun and release them for free use of corporations (i took a set last weekend and sent them to mercedes benz to use for free) my dad said i should sell them, i'm unemployed, but i'm not greedy. if someone puts them online, they are just doing it to "do it" or else they'd have disclaimers and notices of usage.
