Laser printer instead of InkJet for t-shirts?

What will happen if you print on an image to iron on a t-shirt with a laser printer instead of an ink jet printer?? will it work, or will the piece of paper be ruined??

1. Don't use iron-on transfer paper for inkjet printers in your laser printer. The heat can cause the paper to melt all over the inside of your printer, possibly causing expensive damage.
