punk rock clothes?

ok so in a couple of days im going to the thrift store thats right the thrift store because ive herd about alot of people getting "punk rock" clothes their. well obviously they dont get them there but they get cheap clothes and transform them to punk rock style. So what kind of clothes should i buy and how would i transform them.......i can stencil them but wouldnt know what stencils to use, also i do not have a sewwing machine. Well video tutorials would be great but dont give me any thread banger stuff because ive seen it all

1. Dude, just look at the old photos of punker in the 70's or 80's. Get an old magazine from flipside or maximum rock'n'roll from the 80's. That was true punk rock. Be creative.
