How to wash t-shirts without ruining the lettering?
I wear a lot of t-shirts and I've been finding that after several washes the lettering starts cracking and in some cases, fall off. I would like to save some of my t-shirts for memories in decent condition, but I would also like to wear them. Is there a particular way to wash t-shirts without ruining the letters?

- first choice is to send them to the cleaners or try washing them inside out and do not dry them in the dryer let them dry on a clothes line outside
- Wash them inside out and in cold water. Don't put them in the dryer. If you don't have access to a clothesline, hang them on hangers on the shower rod. I have had special shirts that I wore for years because I took care of them in this manner. Good Luck!
- Best thing to do is wash them inside out in cold water and do not dry them. The heat from drying them will make the letters peel and crack and turing them inside out will prevent them from friction that occurs in the washer. Hang dry them instead of using your dryer.
