I want to know where to get punk clothes?
Like not big corparations, I used to like skate stuff but I realized my true love for punk and its culture but I don't wanna look like s**t. Like some real clothes that are cheaper(keep in mind im 13).(HOT TOPIC IS A STUPID ANSWER). Not exactly buying clothes strait but materials to make those clothes.

- hot topic is not a stupid answer that's the only place i can think of no one really makes punk clothes
- being punk is about expressing yourself, so I would say try making your own. you can get cheap clothes at good will or something, rip them up, sew patches on them, safety pin them back together, etc. try doing things you've never seen before, don't follow any rules of fashion, if you want to wear plaid pants and a patterned shirt do it, and make it crazy.
- I used to be big into the punk scene, importing DIY hardcore records and hanging out at grotty basement shows where sets last fifteen minutes and everybody just tosses their PBR cans on the floor. Thus, I think it's fair to say I know the fashions, and the biggest rule is: YOU CAN NOT BUY THEM. Sorry, but it's passe to just buy stuff premade. Even for bondage pants... you're really supposed to find tartan/plaid stuff and sew on straps. And those jackets with a thousand conicals studs? Yeah, I never made one, but I know they take a tremendous amount of labor to do. It's all part of the do it yourself ethic, and a rejection of normative consumerism. How can it really be yours, and how can you see yourself in it, unless you made it yourself, I guess. It's a way of fighting the alienation Marx spoke of 150 years ago. My suggestions: http://studsandspikes.com/ (thry have slamming bullet belts, nice quality wrist bands, plus cheap studs of all varieties. Good people behind it who really care about the scene. Havoc Records: They sell shirts, and Felix is an ace dude. I've met him, and he's as nice as everyone says. http://www.crustpunks.com/index.php?cPath=50_54 No clue about the owners. I've bought patches here, and they were pretty decent quality. Shirts are possibly not so hot, but oh well. Wanna go super-oldschool? In the eighties, there WERE no screen-printed pink T-s. People just took shirts, button up and T alike, and drew a band logo on with magic marker. Perhaps you could revive this? Also, the best place to buy clothes is at a show, Bands will always sell official T-shirts there, even very small ones, and you can support them directly that way. Patches too... they've always got them. I know this is all black-clad crusty stuff, but that's the music and fashion I know. Just wear those shirts with a wristband, tight Black jeans (women's ones?), and a studded belt, and you'll be fine. Also think about those flipback skatecore hats, I guess, and maybe making yourself a jacket. Some people just glue on a back patch and sew on a few on the front (dental floss or bust) plus toss on a few spikes. Need only take a few hours. I also suggest you scour thriftshops for anything funky, but matbe that's just my changing tastes. As for hair? Do as you please, but there's no rule saying you must dye or spike. In fact, most do nothing to their hair. If you wish to, forget Knox, as that's gross. Glue works, but there's also some monstrously strong hair gels that work fine. Kool-Aid's a decent dye, though, and some friends claimed to prefer it to commercial stuff.
- You dont BUY punk clothes, manifactured punk is easy to get, just go shop where avril lavigne shops. You still dont understand punk.On the other hand since you sound so desperate just rob a Squeegi kid and wear his gear .
- Real punks don't buy their clothes, they make them. They buy some normal clothes from normal stores, and sew them so they look punk. Also, a lot of punks wear Doc Marten's but those are kind of expensive. Just buy a regular black hoodie and sew a bunch of patches with band names on them. You can get the patches at Hot Topic (YES, HOT TOPIC). Also, get some jeans and sew them so they are skin tight. And buy some creepers. You can get them here: https://www.tukshoes.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=73_66_2_18&zenid=g8vsndv9vk6ic0qkgc3si2vti6 Or at zappos.com. Have fun.
