How do you get cool clothes on the Sims 2?

I always go on to you tube videos and see the Sims wearing cool clothes. I was just wondering how they got those clothes?

2. There are lots of websites you can download clothing at. Some sites require membership, while others don't. modthesims2.com is one of the best/largest websites for downloadable content. You can also download stuff from the official Sims 2 website. Both these sites require you to register, but the registration process is free.
3. Some people make their own, or otherwise, you can just download em, thesims2.com --> exchange --> sims; you gotta be a member to DL anything though.
4. Try thesims2.com. Go to the top, and scroll over exchange, and click sims, then find a sim you want to download (the sim can come with clothes c:) Click on the sim, and click download (+ download it). Then go to your "Documents" (under start menu) and click EA games, the sims 2, then downloads. click on your downloaded sim twice (sometimes a message will come up, just click allow) and in like 10 seconds a message will pop up for the sims.. i think you just click "ok" twice or something. Then, voila :D Just don't overdo the downloads, i know it's tempting but it slows the gameplay down your welcome :)

6. Well, sometimes the sims in youtube that are wearing clothes have other expansion packs that include new clothes and stuff. Maybe those kind of clothes are the ones you are talking about. You have to buy expansion packs to unlock cooler clothes than the original clothes in sims 2.
7. There are many sites that have free clothing that are very cute. My favorites are gardenofshadows.net and modthesims2.com both offer all free downloads. Modthesims2 requires membership however I would highly recommend it.

9. the best way to get cool clothes and really cool looking sims is to go to the sims2.com then go to exchange and click exchange sims and youll see many cool clothes and sims..u just download them. i used to download them but now i make the clothes for them its pretty cool
