- For good brands of decks GNU libtech Omatic Stepchild Capita Neversummer K2 Forum Rome Avoid pretty much all the brands sold at those big retail stores "D&icks, sports check, sports authority, big 5 ect ect". Pretty much all the brands sold there "Lamar,LTD,Sims, morrow" are low end garbage decks that any boarder planning to go a lot shouldn't bother buying, They'll only end up holding you back. Binding Brands K2 Rome Bentmetal Union FLow- High end only clothing brands I would check out. 686 grenade sessions special blend foursquare Places to buy snowboards and or clothes/equipment http://backcountryoutlet.com http://moosejaw.com http://dogfunk.com http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/ http://the-house.com http://www.boardparadise.com/snow/ http://www.spadout.com/c/snowboarding/ http://www.whiskeymilitia.com/ - timed sales, you could get lucky though. The boots I think you're talking about are BOA lacing systems.

- i ride a Burton gtwin 08 and i totally have the boots and bindings that you are talking about! well i think your talking about at least.... i have Burton boots that have the strings that just pull straight up from the sides to tighten and those Flow bindings that you slide your boot into and latch by bringing the backing up and latching it.... and i LOVE them! well it all depends on your skill level, because a lot of people told me they were both really bad choices, but i can do boxes and rails and starting to do jumps and i love them both. the boots are SO fast and easy to get on and off and im always the first person to strap into my bindings and hit the mountain =-) a lot of people's worries were that the boots strings will brake and what not but if you dont support your board with your boots on the lift, its not really that likely. and at skii dazzle several people told me the flow bindings get snow caught in them and are hard to strap in and ... but i have never had this problem, when your put your boots into the binding, all the snow just pushes forward through the open toe end... but if you are looking for the most bang for your buck (for your jacket, pants, helmet, boots, bindings, goggles....) i would definitely suggest collecting your money asap because after the season actually ends, a lot of this season's stuff goes for like 50% off... yeah, your gear will be last years, but who can really tell? its still brand new, and i dont really think anyone memorizes boot and jacket styles for each year to be like OMG thats last years! haha
