where can i get nice punk clothes?

i really like the punk look and am trying to find some good clothes that i can wear without spending too much money and without looking like a try hard. any suggestions? p.s i live in sydney.

1. I LIVE IN SYDNEY TOO. well, I'm not so much of a punk fan. but if your the skater type, those skater jackets work. and colorful tee's with sayings. getting the hairstyle really works too

4. also in sydney btw. usually i just trawl the op shops and find things that just jump out and appeal to my personal style. originally punk was all about being shocking and subversive, tearing clothes to pieces, wearing work clothes, borrowing from other subcultures and changing the meaning. you really just need to be creative. Glebe markets are good, as are the newtown ones. rabens is good for boots. really i think you could probably make anything punk if you tried.
5. there isnt a punk look. most "punks" i know ...err, theyre " look" IS cheap and not looking hard. you really shouldnt care what you look like. just go buy some cheap clothes you like =p. if theyre wrong, resew them, if you dont sew get a friend/ girlfriend to do it.
