how to get my parents to buy cool clothes?

my parents buy me these noble-like jackets and clothes that i dont even like and they make me look like a stereotype george washington. i finally got them to buy me hurly and tony hawk clothes but they think that those are too gangster-ish or whatever. but i barely have any cool clothes so im constantly washing the 20-25 shirts that dont look nerdy a lot. so what should i do to make them buy better shirts that arent like priest church clothes?

1. say your older now and would like to have input on the clothes they buy for you, better yet shop for yourself
2. ask for money, and buy them yourselves. clothing is way someone can express themselves.. i suggest talk to your parents about it..
