What type of T-shirt is reliable and good for T-shirt business?

My cousin out of country is going into the t-shirt business and wants to start importing plain t-shirts to design them. Which type of t-shirt is good and lasts longer say for example fruit of the loom, american apparell and so one. Do you also know if I can find them in different colors and designs like collars and round necks? I need detailed answer please. Thanx for your time.
